Biography

Jill and Maximum Max
Fred & Henry

Jill Yates was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. A graduate of Portland State University, she has written professionally for over 20 years. When the coffee craze took off in the Pacific Northwest, her curiosity for the popular brew inspired her to write Coffee Lover's Bible. Because of her love for tea it was only a matter of time before Tales Of A Tea Leaf followed.

In addition to nonfiction, Jill especially enjoys writing screenplays and is seeking representation for four screenplays: a romantic comedy, "Abbey Rhodes;" two comedy-dramas, "Wishful Thinking" and "Life by Suicide;" and a drama, "Wild's Run," based on the novel by her husband Gregory Yates.

Jill lives in Southwest Washington with her pug, Maximum Max.
